Cabinet Hardware Fitment Finder
Not sure which hinges or drawer slides will fit your cabinets? Answer a few questions and we will help you identify compatible hardware options for your project.
Step 1: Cabinet Construction Type
What type of cabinets do you have? This determines which hinges and mounting plates will work.
Understanding Cabinet Types
Face Frame Cabinets
Face frame cabinets have a wooden frame (typically 1.5 to 2 inches wide) attached to the front of the cabinet box. Hinges mount directly to this frame. This is the most common style in American kitchens.
- Half-overlay doors are most common
- Hinges mount to the face frame
- Side-mount drawer slides are typical
Frameless (Euro) Cabinets
Frameless cabinets have no face frame - the cabinet sides form the front edge. This European-style construction maximizes interior space and uses concealed cup hinges that mount inside the cabinet.
- Full overlay doors are standard
- 35mm cup hinges are universal
- Undermount slides are popular
